Perhaps the most famous restaurant on wheels is the Curbside Gourmet food truck, known for bringing its adorable mint exterior and mouthwatering menu to West Palm Beach. What started in 2010 as a just a hope to bring people quality food in a fun, new way has turned into a frenzy of sorts with the popular food truck being requested for weddings, special events and office catering regularly. And while the menu offers a great selection of healthy options (soups, salads, grilled tacos, etc.) it is the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and the truffle fries that get me every time! The truck specializes in offering customers fresh, locally sourced and seasonal meals and it is this dedication to quality (and taste) that has earned them media attention not only in the local press but in Martha Stewart Magazine and AirCanada’s EnRoute magazine as well.  

Spring In Roll Out isn’t just fun to say, it is one of the area’s top food trucks serving up their famous spring rolls (or summer rolls!), rice noodles and banh mi. You’ll recognize the truck by the cute pandas on the side but there is nothing cute about the food – it is serious business. Fresh and crisp, everything on the menu is done to perfection. The peanut sauce is one the best I’ve ever tried and tastes good on pretty much anything.

Most popular for the #1 (Churrasco Steak Chivito) the Churrasco Grill brings sandwiches to a whole new level on wheels in The Palm Beaches. Bringing a fusion of South American Grilling flavors wherever they go, the food is sure to be flavorful and packed with goodness! With so many great meats to choose from another popular item is the Sampler – a mixed grill platter of chicken, skirt steak, pork loin and sausage served with yellow rice or french fries or my favorite the Steak Sandwich, Churrasco Grill’s own version of a what I always thought was a Philly cheese steak.  

As someone who considers herself a cupcake connoisseur of sorts, I can tell you that the idea of a mobilized cupcake shop seemed like the best invention ever. Dolce Gourmet Cupcakes brought the idea to The Palm Beaches a few years ago and has been delivering cupcakes to hungry customers across the county ever since! The pink truck can be spotted at most local food truck rallies and events, across town, and at some lucky individuals’ private events dishing up cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate covered waffles and more. Much like Dolce Gourmet Cupcakes, I believe dessert is the most important meal of the day!
