SunFest
Address: 101 S. Clematis St., West Palm Beach, FL
SunFest is back! Florida’s waterfront festival that has celebrated art, music, and friendship for almost 40 years returns May 5 through May 7.
SunFest 2023 will be packed with headliners and local performances, and unforgettable moments. What began as a jazz, art, and water festival 39 years ago, has transformed into a vibrant and diverse music festival.
With over 50 performers, 100 artists that expand three blocks of the Art District, tons of art installations and food vendors, there’s something for everyone! The West Palm Beach Rock Festival takes place along the Intracoastal Waterway in Downtown West Palm Beach. The festival grounds are on Flagler Drive in between Banyan Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue.

Fresh Local Artists
This year, SunFest is showcasing Fresh Local Artists (FLA) at the waterfront music festival. In partnership with 1909, a nonprofit in West Palm Beach dedicated to the holistic growth of creators through member access to one-of-a-kind, collaborative community, workspace, accelerator programs and mentorships, the two organizations will offer local bands the opportunity to audition for SunFest 2023. Nearly 20 local artists will have the chance to perform during the four day festival and a few lucky artists could open for headline entertainers.

A Re-imagined Art District
This year, SunFest has elevated its Art District. Curated by the Armory Art Center, a nonprofit that inspires the creation and experience of art through art classes, exhibitions, lectures, and events, the RE-imagined Art District will feature live artist demonstrations, immersive art installations and innovative new products. Attendees can shop upcycled goods, functional art, apparel, bold prints, and view on-site demonstrations and live events.
It’s More Than Art and Music
Even when you take a break from the music and art, SunFest keeps on entertaining you. There’s always a party happening on those famous floating bars, with their specialty cocktails and frozen drinks. Food at SunFest is from all over the world—find Caribbean flavors, barbeque, ethnic favorites, and most likely … something you've never tried before. The art show welcomes original works, be it paintings, photography, or sculptures. And you just never know what you can find as walk about SunFest, from wine tastings to open-air lounges to interactive games.
