Combine this delectable eat with the all-day events of a harvest celebration and you have a family-friendly treat like no other.
Major League Eating
Yes, you can do some major league eating of sweet corn on your own. But did we mention National Sweet Corn Eating Championship? It’s on the official Major League Eating circuit and the Sweet Corn Fiesta is again the host for this year. Last time the winner ate 57 ears of Florida sweet corn in 12 minutes to claim the title. The world record is 61 ears, well within reach for this year’s competitors.
Historic Setting
Yesteryear Village is a living history park. Discover a large collection of early, original and replicated buildings including an old school, a farm, a blacksmith shop, a general store, and several houses. Make sure to stop in the Riddle House, restless spirits still haunt this home built in 1905.
